Monthly Quilt Appies (Appetizers):

Needleworks is pleased and excited to announce the 2010 Monthly Quilt Projects. These are small (9” x 19-20”) Wallhangings that are quick and easy to do and will give you a “taste” of a new technique without a lot of time or money invested. Kits will be available for sale on the 2nd Friday/Saturday of each month during this year. Kits will be $20 each during the month of release.

Each kit will include: A pattern with detailed construction and sewing instructions; Tips for learning new techniques or building on your skills; Fabric to complete the entire hanging...all you need is your own thread and batting scraps.

RIBBON BORDER Learn how to sew connector corners for an eye catching border.

SPRING Learn how to machine appliqué without reversing any pattern pieces.

For The Birds Learn how to sew foundation (paper) pieced flying geese blocks.

Bubbling Hearts: This cute little hanging will brighten any wall. Learn how to sew a continuous binding with perfectly mitred corners on any size quilt.

Shoo-Fly: Two simple blocks stitch up quickly for a lovely little wall hanging. Learn how to piece side and corner triangles.
